Wharfedale Vista 100 Remote Repair Details

Model : Vista 100
Customers Fault Description : Some of the buttons are no longer working but some of them are. It started with the volume buttons and would work if the remote was compressed in your hand. The power button has now stopped working too. Some buttons still remain operational and the batteries are new. Reviewing your website it looks like the same issue that Job Ref 6293-7380 on your timeline had although the remote does not appear to be coming apart externally.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have various buttons non functioning. This was found to be due to a faulty IC, a replacement IC was fitted which partial functionality. The Dim, Music and Bass+ buttons still don't respond. Another IC was fitted and the same issue remained. This is is an IC issue but it would seem that all of the parts we have are non suitable. Due to this a repair is not possible but we do have a clone available.
