Customer's Fault Description
Door close button (lower green) works sometimes-requires a lot of pressure. This control is 20year old so is feeling it's age.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a non responsive button. This was due to worn contacts, the contacts were replenished which restored functionality.
When re-assembling the remote it was found that 2 of the SMD capacitors were detached from the PCB, this was most likely creating a weak signal. These were re soldered back into place.
