Customers Fault Description : BECOMING INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT TO OPERATE UNIT WITH REMOTE....UNIT HAS DIFFICULTY PICKING UP SIGNAL FROM REMOTE.....TRIED VARIOUS BATTERIES.
This remote was found to be very "sluggish" on many buttons (most likely the most commonly used buttons)
The problem was caused by errosion of the button conductivity caused by use over the years, this was remedied by resurfacing the pads and also cleaning the PCB contacts.
