Customer's Fault Description
REMOTE WAS DROPPED BUTTON STILL PRESSES LIGHT FLASHES BUT NO SIGNAL TO GARAGE OPENER
This garage remote control was found to be non transmitting even though the LED indicator was functioning.
Apparently this fault arose when the remote was dropped which led to the idea of a broken print of dry joint. Upon opening the remote there were a few solder joints that were showing signs of cracking, these were re-soldered and the remote was found to be transmitting.
The customer is advised to double check the Switch array (see bottom picture) on the remote if possible to ensure it matched up with the receiver if possible.
