Customer's Fault Description
The fire works correctly manually and the red light on the remote also works but it appears that the two do not recognise each other as there is no response from the fire. The battery in the remote is new as are the batteries in the fire.
This remote arrived safely and well packaged, the remote indicator was lighting up when either button was pressed but no signal was being transmitted on either channel (up or down)
At first it was though that both crystals had become faulty but this was not the case, it turned out to be the Ultrasonic Transducer being faulty.
This was replaced with another 40khz transducer and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
