Customer's Fault Description
The receiver not working, if I flex the board it works.
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on first inspection the remote was not transmitting a signal at all on either the up or down channels.
This fault was found to be caused by a faulty 40k Ultrasonic Transmitter. This was replaced and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
The reason the receiver showed signs of receving when flexed was due to static charge and conductivity from touching the PCB which gave the illusion of it receiving when it actually wasn't.
