This remote and receiver arrived boxed up, when the package was received it was noticed that the remote and receiver were lose inside the box and were "rattling" around due to lack of padding.

When the box was opened, the first problem was immediately noticed.  The Ultrasonic send and receiver components had their centers rattling around inside their enclosures (see bottom image below).  It is not known if this was a pre existing problem or if it happened in transit as strong knocks can break these components

Both the transmitter and Receiver Ultrasonic components were replaced and further problems were found, one being that one of the lead on the remotes battery terminals was disconnected (this was replaced) then once powered up it was also found that the up button was also faulty and needed replacing.

The receiver was also not receiving a signal at all on either channel even after the receiver US component was replaced.

Due to the number of problems encountered with this remote and receiver it has sadly deemed them beyond repair.
