Customer's Fault Description
Fire turns on and increases output ok but very slow and temperamental to decrease
This remote and its receiver arrived safely and as stated by the customer it was "sluggish" to the point of almost non responsiveness when trying to lower the flame.
The first test showed that the remote was intermittently sending a signal, this was remedied by replacing the 40k Crystal. This did make a very slight improvement and therefore it was decided to replaced the receivers crystal too. Once this was replaced full functionality was restored (see testing video)
