Customer's Fault Description
Remote will only flame down fire - not up. All red lights come on except when attempting to flame up.
This fireplace remote control arrived well packaged and was found to be not transmitting on the up channel.
A test of the transmitter showed that a signal was being sent on both up and down channels which led to the receiver being faulty.
The remoedy was to replace the 40.5 Crystal. This was done and full functionality was restored. See testing video
