Customer's Fault Description
No particular reason, just appeared to stop working. Removed battery cover to find negative black wire disconnected from circuit board, re connected it with new battery and nothing.

 

This Remote arrived and was dead.  The battery terminals were badly damaged and had been re soldered to the PCB by the customer.

Sadly it appears that the battery terminal was not the only fault, a component check revealed no obvious problem and without schematics the functionality of the Custom Eproms could not be distinguished and therefore could not be tested.  It is possible that the Loose wire may have contacted other terminals within the remote and scrambled the eproms.

This has sadly meant that this remote is beyond repair due to lack of technical information.  No Charge is required other than the return postage if this item is required to be returned.
