No Response from remote (2nd of batch)
This remote arrive as part of a batch of 2 handsets, both with the same fault (totally dead) the other remote can be found on the other jobsheet.
This handset had the same problem as the other remote whereby the negative power lead was missing, this was replaced but there was still a problem present. The buttons were contaminated quite badly (See image below) meaning that functionality was sluggish.
This was remedied by soaking the pcb in alcohol to remove all of the foreign contamination. Full functionality was restored
