Customer's Fault Description
I dropped the remote on a hardwood floor and it is no longer working, I've swapped the batteries on the remote and receiver but no joy. It still works when held up very close to the receiver (within an inch) so i suspect the transmitter on the top of the PCB inside is damaged
This remote and its receiver arrived safely. The handset was found to be non transmitting on either the up or down channels. As the customer stated that the fault occured after it being dropped the solution was to replace the Ultrasonic Transmitter which was carried out and full functionailty was restored (see testing video)
To replace the US transmitter a case modification was needed due to the size difference, this was all internal.
