Customer's Fault Description
nothing working from remote new battery's etc still nothing
This remote arrived well packaged and was found on first testing to be non transmitting as stated by the customer.
Upon opening the remote the problems were instantly apparent, there were 2 issues with the handset.
The first problem was a sign of some old contamination around the main IC, this was cleaned up.
The second problem was the negative battery terminal solder joint was cracked. This was re-soldered and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
