Customer's Fault Description
The unit works on flame up.But will not work on flame down.
The receiver light blinks on flame up but not on flame down.
This Hunter Stoves / Mertik Maxitrol remote and its corresponding receiver arrived extremely well packaged safely.
First inspection did show that the remote was not transmitting when the down flame button was pressed.
This was due to a faulty crystal (40k), this was replaced and then the remote was tested with the receiver and full functionality was restored. (See testing video)
