remote works but receiver doesn't. reciever has had battery leakage in the pass but have manged to get it to work for a few years now

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely, first inspection showed that the remote was illuminating the visible LED on the handset but was not sending out a Ultrasonic signal.  This was cured by replacing the US transmitter in the remote.

The down button was also on the verge of collapse as its "clickability" was very soft, this was remedied by replacing the button before it collapsed completely.

Once the handset was repaired full functionality was restored (See  ), as the customer had stated that the receiver had a battery spillage in the past it was decided to clean up the contacts and re-plate them to prevent future problems.
