this unit has a chip for it to work, if we put chip in other unit is will work so must be the handset as other one works for the other side of the handset.
This remote arrived safely. Upon first inspection it was noticed that there was no end cap / IR bulb cover (see image below) this cannot be replaced and doesnt effect the functionality.
The remote was totally dead and when it was opened the reason became apparent.
The battery pp9 clip was broken and one of the leads was unattached (see image below). A new cable was fitted and the print was reworked and full functionality was restored (See testing video)
