Jolida JD 100H Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : No buttons working. Bought item second hand and noticed batteries had leaked and corroded the contact points. I put in fresh batteries, but still not working.
This Jolida Audio remote arrived safely and well packaged. As stated by the customer there were internal signs of a battery leakage and the remote was not transmitting a signal at all.
The was some residue left inside the remote which was cleaned off by using alcohol and also the battery terminals were re-touched up with conductive paint to prevent future problems.
The reason for the dead fault however was a leg on the 455 oscillator was loose. This was re soldered and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
