Customer's Fault Description

Nothing works at all, previous owner forgot to take batteries out may be acid leak?

This remote arrived safely and was found to be non functioning, no signal was being transmitted.

The customer did mention that there may have been a battery leakage and from viewing the terminals there was signs of corrosion.

Upon opening the remote the extent of the leakage was apparent, there was some trace amounts of liquid contamination on a few of the keypads (see images), the PCB was given an alcohol bath to remove this contamination and the rubber keypad was washed.

Also the corroded battery terminal was repaired. Full functionality has been restored (see testing video)
