Customers Fault Description : Only works when we wants to have to tap it to work sometimes it still does not
This remote was handed round by the client explaining that the remote requires tapping to get it to work.
Upon testing the remote was illuminating but was not sending an infra red signal.
When the remote was opened the problem became apparent. The IR led had very poor / cracked solder joints which was making an intermittent contact, hence the reason it would work when tapped.
These joints were soldered and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
