faulty switch keeps turning on when we are out

 

This remote and receiver was handed over by the client and was found to be intermittently transmitting. 

There was found to be 2 problems, one was the battery cable shorting occasionaly and the other was the buttons themselves, the buttons were shorting out due to a foreign substance on their pins.

The battery cable and both buttons were replaced and full functionality was restored, see testing video
