sevic Remote Repair Details
This remote arrived safely. On first inspection the remote had signs of it being previously opened (due to markings down the sides of the remote) also the battery terminals showed signs of misplacement as they were all bent out of the normal position.
The remote was tested before opening and was found to be transmitting on all buttons. The remote was opened to check for dry joints, cracks or faulty components but none was found. A stress test was carried out and again a fault could not be replicated.
As no fault can be found the conclusion is that it is either the receiver or it could possibly be the main IC being intermittent (this is the IC that is situated under the black resin on the board that cannot be identified or changed. As no fault has been found there is no charge to the customer (except the return postage fees as stated on our site)
