Customers Fault Description : Ceased to function completely Tried change of batteries to no avail
This Technics audio system remote control arrived safely. On first testing the remote appeared to work but was very intermittent (sometimes it would send a signal and sometimes it wouldn't)
Upon opening the remote there was a strange powder contamination inside over the keypads, this was causing the erratic behavior on the buttons. This was rinsed off and the pcb was given an alcohol bath.
Full functionality was restored.
