Customer's Fault Description
Dead - Nothing at all, no lights....nothing.
This remote arrived and as the customer stated it was not powering on.
Upon opening the handset the issue became clear, it appears that there was some sort of liquid contamination in it in the past that had dried up and corroded a vast amount of the print (see bottom image). Sadly due to the extent of the corrosion it has deemed this repair non economical.
There is no service charge for looking at this remote and the postage payment is only required if the remote is to be returned to the customer.
