Customer's Fault Description
I dropped it and it's not working anymore , but the light still comes on !!

 

This mertik remote arrived safely and even though it was illuminating it was not transmitting an ultrasonic signal.

As the customer stated that it ceased to work after being dropped it led to the conclusion that the US transducer was at fault which can be damaged when receiving a sharp shock such as being dropped.

This was replaced and full functionality was restored (See testing Video)
