Customer's Fault Description
It is not operating the On control for the fire. At times the Off or reduce flame control works

 

Upon first inspection of this maxitrol remote the down button wasnt Clicking and was only temporarily making contact.  This was due to the button "collapsing" causing it to become intermittent.  The solution was to replace the button.

This was done and full functionality was restored, see testing video (you will now notice the "click" when the down button is pressed)
