Tried various batteries no light on

 

This remote arrived safely and was found to be totally non functioning... no infra red or LED light was being emmitted when buttons were pressed.

 

This was due to a faulty crystal which is a comon problem on these handsets.  This was replaced and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
