Customer's Fault Description
The remote shows a red light when sending "up" or "down" but at the receiver box it only shows a light when receiving the "down" command - and then clicks into action. For "up" there is a light at the remote but not at the receiver.
This remote and receiver arrived safely and first inspection revealed signs of battery leakage in the receiver. This was cleaned up and when tested one of the channels on the receiver was not responding, this was caused by a faulty crystal oscillator. this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
