Nothing seems to work at all

 

This remote arrived safely and was found to be erratic in functionality.  It would only very occasionally send an infra red signal

Upon opening the battery compartment there were signs of a leakage.  This had spread internally onto the main pcb and started to corrode parts of the main tracks around the IC.  Unfortunately due to the extent of the damage this has rendered this remote beyond repair.

There is no service charge and only the return postage is required to be paid if the remote is to be returned.
