Customer's Fault Description
Light does not light up on G30-ZRRS then a press the up or down button on the hand held remote G30-ZRHS

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely all the way from the USA.  The remote was tested first and was found to be functioning fine leading to the conclusion that it was the receiver that was at fault.

Upon opening the receiver the PCB showed signs of corrosion from a battery leakage (see image), this was reworked but the fault still persisted intermittently.  The remedy was to replace the ultrasonic receiver as well as the 40k crystal.  Full functionality was restored.
