I dropped the remote. some buttons are missing however we only use the 4 buttons on the top row. The battery is new and we would be grateful if you could get this repaired for us.
This Hoffman brake tester remote arrived safely. Upon opening the package the remote was found to be split apart as per the customers description after it being dropped. Many of the buttons were missing.
The handset was opened and the crystal oscillator leg was broken which is a common fault on these remotes especially due to their rough use.
This was soldered and the remote reassembled with the remaining buttons being placed in the customers requested functions.
Full functionality was restored
