Battery box corroded, not working

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and initial testing revealed that hte handset itself was working on both channels.

The problem was with the receiver, there had been a battery leakage at some time in the past and it had eventually eaten through the battery terminals.

A new battery box was fitted and full functionality was restored.
