On off button does not work

 

This sony remote arrived well packaged and first testing showed that hte poer button was "intermittent".  This was due to some residue around the PCB where the contacts for the power switch are located.

 The PCB was cleaned with alcohol and the rubber keypads washed of all contaminants.  Full functionality was restored (see testing video)
