Customer's Fault Description
Lights will come on if batteries are removed and reinserted but light stays on. The buttons (top two) should only illuminate when pressed.
This Exodus remote control handset arrived safely and first inspection revealed that it was missing the back cover. The remote arrived with special voltage AA batteries.
Upon opening the handset the pcb was found to consist mainly of various I.C.s surrounding one large Eprom.
Unfirtunately due to the lack of schematic information about the Eprom or I.C.s it was deemed that this remote is beyond repair.
