Carolina (B&Q) Wall Fire Remote Repair Details
This carolina fire remote arrived well packaged. First inspection showed that the back was badly burnt, the battery cover was missing and the terminals were not seated properly.
The handset was tested and all buttons were transmitting correctly. After opening the remote no problem could be found.
Upon speaking further to the customer about the fault it was concluded that the problem lay with the fire itself. As it sounds as though the heater element is tripping the fire off whenever it is attempted to turn on.
There is no inspection / service charge required and only the return postage is required if the remote is to be returned to the customer.
THIS CONTROLLER WAS DISPOSED OF ON THE 2ND JAN 2017 AS PER OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
