Customer's Fault Description
The remote just does not work at all! It has a digital display which shows nothing, even when I change the 9V battery. I have checked the receiver it sends to and that responds fine. The remote's display doesn't show any readings and non of the buttons actually operate any of the functions on the fire.
This Dru handset arrived safely and when initial testing was carried out there was no display as per the customers fault description.
The battery clip was showing signs of wear but was still functioning.
Upon opening the handset there were a few suspect joints around the board that when tapped would make the display illuminate. These joints were resoldered and the battery clip replaced. Full functionality was restored.
