Customer's Fault Description
Same fault as ref 1289-1539, works ok on flame down but not on flame up, led ok on remote and receiver on down but not on up. The receiver is attached to the gas stove so i rather not send that and i will send the remote. The led down works on remote without the receiver .
This remote arrived safely and on first testing the buttons were very unresponsive, you could make a contact by pressing the buttons hard.
The handset was opened and a test carried out on both the buttons, when pressed there was a high resistance reading which was caused by worn contacts, this was rectified and full functionality was restored.
