No power not working
This remote was hand delivered by the customer and was found to be totally dead. There was also no battery cover as the battery was being held in by tape.
Upon opening the remote there were no immediate visible signs of a problem, a component test revealed that there was a shorted diode that was draining the power source and making the remote non usable.
This diode was replaced and full functionality was restored, also a replacement battery cover was provided.
