does not work at all tried pushing buttons pointed against against lens of camera phone but no flash from remote tried new batteries no joy

 

This Valour fireplace remote control arrived safely, first testing confirmed that no infra red signal was being emitted by the handset.

 Upon opening the remote the problem became apparent, there was a break in the print around one of the main components, the print was reworked and the component resoldered and full functionality was restored.
