Customer's Fault Description
Unfortunately the remote got washed in pocket of jeans and we arrived home to find the garage door open (but the jeans washed). Dried remote on radiator and put new batteries in. Remote lights up when buttons pressed but it does not operate the garage door. Have tried resetting the remote with the main wall mounted unit but still doesn't work.
This remote arrived safely and on powering up was found to be not transmitting a radio signal.
As the remote was "washed" by accident a full inspection of the pcb was made, and as nothing problematic was found the board was given a full alcohol bath to remove any hidden remnants of liquid.
When powering up the remote after drying the alcohol off a radio signal was then detected on all button presses.
