When connected to charge the symbol does not show on the screen,we think it is taking some charge as when the mode button is pressed the red led light will light at times but now seems to be flat,cannot get it to work as it is not switching on.i did phone you on Tuesday 17/11/2105 and explained the problem

 

This GO Pro remote arrived safely.  On testing the remote with a power source the remote was found to be totally dead.

The charging cable was tested and found to be fine, upon opening the remote the battery was also tested and was found to be flat and not accepting a charge.  A temporary power source was applied bypassing the battery but again the handset did not power up.  

The remote itself consists mainly of Various non identifiable surface mount IC's which cannot be tested due to the lack of service information.  Unfortunately this has rendered this repair not possible.

 

This remote has been disposed of as per the customers request 28th Nov 2015
