Customer's Fault Description
Inoperable following battery leakage.
This Meridian remote control arrived safely from Kuala Lumpur. On removing the battery cover the terminals showed signs of a battery leakage which had already started to corrode through the terminals.
Upon opening the remote itself the extent of the damage was revealed, the battery leakage had extended far into the remote and corroded most of the print as well as the button array (see images below) due to the extent of the damage sadly this repair has not been possible.
