Customer's Fault Description
Handset left on top of fire so melted, it did work but then I dropped on hard floor and has stopped working.
This remote arrived safely and on first inspection there was massive damage to the back of the remote due to the customer leaving it near a heat source and it melting.
As per the customers fault description the remote still worked fine in this state until it was dropped.
Testing the remote confirmed that there was no red led or infra red signal emitting from the handset.
On opening the device there was a small crack around one of the solder joints, this was resoldered and full functionality was restored. Please note that the back cannot be replaced and no cosmetic repairs could be carried out.
