Customer's Fault Description
I have a mertik maxitrol g30 zrht remote control which has a problem with lowering the gas heater, which is not working. On the reciever I also don't see a light. On the remote control I do see a transmitting icon. We have tested the remote control on another (same type) gasheater and it has the same problem. We can turn on the gas, that is not a problem.

 

This remote arrived safely from the Netherlands.  On adding a power source the handset was found to be only transmitting on one channel even though the display acknowledged all button presses.

The fault was found to be the 40khz Crystal.  This was replaced and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
