Customer's Fault Description
Remote appears completely dead
This Samsung remote arrived safely and on powering up the remote appeared to be totally dead. No signal was being transmitted at all.
When the handset was opened there were o immediate signs of stress / spillage.
A power source was reapplied to voltage check the board and it was immediately noticed that the main IC / Eprom was overheating. Sadly this Eprom is not available as a spare and without further schematics it has not been possible to repair this handset.
