Customer's Fault Description
Remote won't turn on any more. I tried replacing batteries but this didn't work.

 

This remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was found to be totally dead / non functioning. 

When the handset was opened there was no visible signs of stress / dry joints etc.  A full component test was carried out but sadly no definitive problem could be found.

It was then concluded that the problem lay with one of the main processors which are unfortunately not available as spares, therefore this repair has not been possible.
