Customer's Fault Description
Leaked battery caused the battery spring wire connections to go green of which one of the spring battery coil broke away (this being the coil that engages to the negative battery terminal and also keeps the battery in place). The controller will need a new coil to be fitted and other wires cleaned up
This caravan mover remote arrived safely. The battery terminals were corroded due to a battery leakage. Also the batter cover was missing, luckily a replacement was on hand and has been fitted.
Upon opening the remote there was no signs that the leakage had spread to the main PCB therefore the terminals were replaced and full functionality was restored. Please note that the testing video shows the remote powered up but as it isn't "paired" up with a receiver it will not remain powered up until it is back with its receiver.
