Customer's Fault Description
loose wire to battery and circuit board, plus battery cover missing
This Flavel fireplace remote controller arrived safely, on initial inspection the battery cover was missing and the battery was being held in by tape.
The the remote was not transmitting due to having a faulty pp9 power cable, this was replaced and full functionality was restored. Even though our policy states that we do not carry out cosmetic repairs (i.e. replace battery covers) as we had a spare laying around a replacement battery cover was fitted too.
