not to sure could be something inside the unit the unit is only about 4/5 years old never been used much would be grateful if u can have a look at it for me kind regards james
This remote arrived safely and on first inspection it was noticed that hte battery terminal was not in position inside the handset which is due to the remote being opened before.
When the handset was opened there were a few cracks in the print around the terminals which was most likely due to the back not being refitted correctly. This print was reworked but the problem still persisted.
A continuity test revealed that there were erratic readings on some of the main I.C.s pins, this was due to poor solder joints, these were resoldered and full functionality was restored.
