Customer's Fault Description
Certain buttons are faulty such as the AV Change, Volume and power
This Panasonic DVD System remote arrived safely and had batteries included, on testing the handset it was found that the buttons were "sluggish"
When the screws were removed the casing was found to be cracked around the screw holes (this did not affect functionality), also the battery cover was held on by tape.
The problem was found to be a liquid spillage on the main PCB as well as worn buttons. The spillage was cleaned up and the faulty buttons were reworked with a silver conductive paint. Full functionality was restored.
