Customer's Fault Description
Have two remotes and in both the battery terminals have failed. In one case one of the terminals has detached from the PCB in the other it is still attached but the solder joint is visibly cracked/dry.

 

These 2 garage door remotes arrived safely, a second jobsheet was created by us to cover the 2nd remote (each remote must have a jobsheet)

This first remote had a faulty battery terminal and also had signs of a leakage on one of the terminals in the way of blue crystallized contamination, this was cleaned up and the terminal was resoldered.  Full functionality was restored.
